The DURIOS S15 Pro

The semi rugged DURIOS S15 Pro Notebook is the "bigger brother" of the DURIOS S14 Pro Notebook. Both Notebooks belong to the class of semi rugged Industrial Notebooks. The metal alloy light weight housing makes the DURIOS S15 Pro Notebook resistant against shock, vibration and drop.

The semi rugged DURIOS S15 Pro Notebook offers the performance of a high end business Notebook and the ruggedness of an Industrial Notebook. Thank to the light metal housing the weight stays at an ambient level of 6.6lbs only. The 15.1" WXGA TFT display is made with antiglare technology which keeps the irritating mirroring effect at a very low level. Thus the semi rugged Notebook can also be used outdoor.

The new powerful Intel Core 2 Duo processors running at 800MHz FSB and up to 6MB Cache guaranty real fun at work even though the operations might be complex. The Intel graphics chipset GM965 chip with 2D/3D engine and up to 358MB RAM shared memory can handle most video applications easily. Typical for an Industrial Notebook is the obligatory RS232 port with D-Sub 9 connector. The semi rugged DURIOS S15 Pro Notebook is also available with a built-in HSDPA WWAN modem for fast data communication worldwide.
